I studied with Rendon to prepare for the Unified auditions at TPS in Seattle and had a great experience! Rendon is highly knowledgeable about theater and can assist with your monologues from the perspective of an actor as well as a director. He is skilled at assessing an actor’s personal strengths and areas of improvement while providing a very supportive, safe atmosphere. Rendon is a great scene partner when practicing your monologues, and can describe your character’s motivations and obstacles in a way that really elevates the stakes. I appreciated how Rendon was able to be both practical and encouraging at the same time. I felt more than prepared for my audition!

Rendon is an incredible acting coach. He really listened to my goals and helped me point out my character’s motives for a scene. If I felt stuck on how to interpret a line, he would help guide me through. I had been feeling stuck with not getting past the callback stage and was feeling discouraged but Rendon helped create a safe space for me to work in and the confidence to keep pushing forward. After working with him for my audition, I GOT THE PART!
